The Artist
Lili Bunten is a jewellery artist, designing and making all her pieces by hand in South London.
Her design process is fluid, informed by experimentation with materials, textures and growth movements that interest her, rather than making pieces from a pre-formed idea. Working unconventionally allows freedom for her designs to evolve organically, materializing in striking, one of a kind pieces of jewellery.
Having recently studied in Florence, she reconnected with the roots of her craft, embracing processes such as pouring ingots, drawing wire and hand fabrication.
Working exclusively with recycled metal, Lili enjoys the patience of making by hand, transforming raw materials into jewellery that brings traditional techniques into a contemporary context.
